Position Summary:
We are looking for an Associate Product Manager with a strong background in nursing, CNA, or related healthcare experience, particularly within Labor and Delivery, NICU, Senior Living, or Hospital settings. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to leverage their clinical knowledge and hands-on experience to contribute to the development of innovative medical devices. As an Associate Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the needs of healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Collaborate with engineering, design, and clinical teams to develop and enhance medical devices that address the specific needs of healthcare environments such as Labor and Delivery, NICU, Senior Living, and Hospitals.
- Clinical Expertise: Utilize your clinical background to provide valuable insights into product design, functionality, and user experience, ensuring our products align with real-world clinical practices and requirements.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes within the healthcare sector. Use these insights to inform product strategy and development.
- User Feedback: Gather and analyze feedback from healthcare professionals, including nurses, CNAs, and other clinical staff, to continuously improve product offerings.
- Product Training and Support: Assist in the development of training materials and provide support to end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of our products.
- Project Management: Coordinate and manage product development timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, regulatory, and quality teams to ensure product alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing preferred
- Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful times
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Dedicated to provide the best patient care possible
- Must have general working knowledge of computers and department specific software
- Interest in Product Management: A strong desire to transition into product management and a passion for developing medical devices that improve patient care.
