Job Summary:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in our production operations. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to quality while keeping pace with the ever-evolving manufacturing landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes and workflows to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Conduct time studies and process analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with product design teams to ensure the manufacturability and cost- effectiveness of new products.
- Develop and implement manufacturing standards, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends and troubleshoot production issues.
- Provide technical support and training to production teams on new processes and equipment.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address production challenges.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and optimize the selection of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering software tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross- functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices and methodologies is a plus.
