Job Summary: As an IT Help Desk Intern, you will assist the IT team in providing exceptional technical support to our staff and clients. This role will allow you to learn and develop skills in troubleshooting, customer service, and IT operations while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in person.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for desktop and laptop computers.
  • Help set up and configure new equipment, including computers, printers, and peripherals.
  • Document technical issues and solutions in the help desk ticketing system for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Assist with user account administration, including password resets and access rights.
  • Participate in inventory management of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Support IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance processes and improve service delivery.
  • Learn and adhere to company IT policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a degree program related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
