Job Brief:

We are searching for a meticulous and passionate Data Analyst Intern to join our dynamic team. The Data Analyst Intern will work alongside our data team to interpret data and turn it into information which can offer ways to improve our operations, thus affecting business decisions. The ideal candidates should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data.


Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  • Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.
  • Working with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching.
  • Creating and presenting reports to meet business needs.
  • Assisting the data team in the development of data analysis algorithms.
  • Identifying patterns and trends in data sets.
  • Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs.
  • Using data to create models that depict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole.


Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.
  • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data.
  • Good understanding of data analysis tools and databases.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and other data software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
